This rifle scope is a Second Focal Plane rifle scope, which means that the reticle does not enlarge when you zoom in, it stays the same size. This is different with a First Focal Plane scope, where the reticle adjusts to the size when zooming. The Diamondback Tactical 4-12×40 Rifle Scope uses a VMR-1 MOA reticle, which offers extensive possibilities for the right adjustments during the shooting.
